A maid service website that takes deposits
It's a website where a customer pays part of the price by card when they book, so the time you set aside is paid for before you arrive. You choose the share, 40% until you change it, and the rest is taken after the visit.

Set the deposit once, or job by job
Choose what is taken to book: a share of the price, the full price, or nothing up front. Set it for the whole business, then differently for a service, a type of job or a single quote where it needs to be.
- 25%, 40% or the full price when you set up, and any share later
- Shown on the quote as what it takes to book
- Packages customers buy online take a deposit too, on Grow and Pro
How the customer pays it
On the quote, the customer agrees to your booking terms, approves it and picks a date, then pays the deposit by card. On a one-off visit they can choose to pay the whole amount instead, or spread it with Klarna where it's switched on for your account.
The rest, after the visit
The card used for the deposit is kept for the balance. On a one-off, the balance is asked for after the visit, and the saved card is charged if it's still unpaid a week later. A regular customer's deposit comes off the first visit, and their card is charged after each visit from then on.
- A late-cancellation charge, if you want one
- A receipt for the deposit and for every payment after it
If you'd rather take nothing up front
Set the deposit to nothing and customers book without paying. Each one-off booking then waits for you to confirm it in the office before a cleaner is put on it, which is why most businesses keep a deposit.
Deposits and card payments come with every plan, from $15/month billed yearly, on the website that's included with it. Stripe charges its own card fee, and Crewbee adds none.
